In order to appear in JEE
(Main) , the candidates are required to apply only online as per procedure
detailed below.
1. Applying Online and
Submission of Application
The online submission
of particulars may be made at JEE (Main) website. The candidates should
supply all the required details while filling up the online form. On
submission of details, a Confirmation Page with Application No. shall be
generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page
and paste photograph, put left hand thumb impression, sign and write
down the Residential Address at appropriate places provided for these
purposes. The Confirmation Page then must be signed by a parent/guardian
and by a gazetted officer/principal of the last institution attended.
Duly completed Confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered/Speed Post
to:

on or before the last date as mentioned earlier. The
application fee payment can be made:
(a) by credit/debit
card, or
(b) by demand draft
issued by a scheduled commercial bank in favour of Secretary, CBSE,
payable at Delhi.
2. Additional Information
for Candidates for JEE (Advanced)- 2013
Candidates who wish to
appear for JEE (Advanced) - 2013 must also give their choices of JEE
(Advanced) examination cities.
The candidates who are found
eligible for JEE (Advanced) - 2013 will have to again register later on
at the JEE (Advanced) website http://jeeadv.iitd.ac.in
after the declaration of the JEE (Main) score on or before 13th May 2013.
3. Check-List of Items to
be Sent to JEE (Main) Secretariat
The duly filled
Confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered/Speed Post to JEE (Main)
office along with demand draft from any scheduled commercial bank if
payment is made by demand draft. Those who have made payment by
debit/credit card may have to send only Confirmation Page that carries
the details of their online fee transactions.
4. Where and How to Send
the Confirmation Page
The Confirmation Page
is to be printed on A-4 size paper and kept in an A-4 size
envelope/proper size envelope. The completed Confirmation Page must be
sent only by registered/speed post to the Executive Director JEE (Main)
- 2013 at the address given below.

by the courier/hand delivered will be rejected without any further

5. Proof of Having Sent
the Confirmation Page
The candidates are
advised to retain the following.

A photocopy of
Confirmation Page carrying the Application No.

Copy of
receipt/confirmation as per the mode of remittance of Examination
fee.

Original receipt of
Speed / Registered post.
6. ADMIT CARD FOR JEE
(Main) - 2013
The Admit Card can be
downloaded from JEE (Main) website. PRIOR TO DOWNLOADING THE ADMIT
CARD, THOSE CANDIDATES WHO DID NOT PROVIDE THE ROLL NUMBER OF THEIR
CLASS 12th/OTHER QUALIFYING EXAMINATIONS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE SO.
The candidates are
advised to download their admit cards from JEE (Main) website only. The
Candidates are also advised to regularly see JEE (Main) website for
updates. A call center will also be functional on all working days from
1st February 2013 onwards for general facilitation.
